Federal Project Review System
Overview
The Regional Commission is designated by the Governor as the regional clearinghouse for federal grants and loans, under Presidential Executive Order 12372 and the Demonstration Cities and Metropolitan Development Act.

The Regional Commisssion provides a number of services to local governments in the region, which include:
- Review and comment of applications for federal grants and loans for consistency with regional plans and programs of the Commission.
- Recommendations for improvements in grant applications.
- Submission of project applications to applicable local governments for their comments and review.
Products and Publications
The Regional Commission maintains a monthly list of projects submitted under the Federal Project Review System.
