The Region 6 Homeland Security Planning Board’s Collaboration Sub-Committee is primarily responsible for expanding and enhancing intra-regional prevention, protection, response and recovery activities through common tactics, techniques, and procedures. 

This sub-committee is tasked with delivering the Region’s multi-jurisdictional exercises and training, regional exercise design, NIMS training, and enhancing information sharing capabilities within the region (e.g. Project IGNITE! - a law enforcement information sharing project that facilitates data exchange between law enforcement agencies throughout the Region).
